MyNotary members, Christopher Wilton and Jonathan Sharp, provide a full range of notarial services in and around Pontefract, including : –

Legalisation
We can arrange legalisation – sometimes known as adding an ‘Apostille’ where appropriate. The Apostille is a stamped certificate affixed to UK issued documents by The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). The FCO will check the document has been genuinely issued by a UK notary public.
Translation Services
Document in a foreign language? No problem.
If the document is not in English, the Notary can still certify it if he or she is satisfied that you fully understand the nature of the legally binding document about to be notarised. Some foreign language documents can be legalised; we can advise.

Charges and estimates
Notary Pontefract is often asked “what do notary services cost?” There is a minimum charge of £75 plus vat (total £90). However, it does depend on the number of documents and what needs to be done. Also, if the document needs an Apostille or legalisation as it is often called, there will be additional costs payable to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and, possibly to a foreign embassy. Notary Chris Wilton or notary Jonathan Sharp will provide a breakdown of costs in advance.
How to pay
Fees may be paid by Bank Transfer – BACS, Cash or by arrangement, invoice.
