What Notary Services does Notary Public, Antony Wilson provide?
I provide a full range of notarial services for both individuals and companies.
The most frequent documents needing to be notarised on behalf of private individuals may be:
- A Power of Attorney relating to selling a time-share in Spain or buying a holiday home abroad.
- Certified copies: if you apply for an overseas bank account or go to live or work in a foreign country, you may be asked to provide documents that are certified as true copies of the original.
- For example; I frequently am asked to take a copy of your passport and certifying that it is a true copy of the original.
The most frequent documents needing to be notarised on behalf of companies is again a Power of Attorney, used to grant an employee the ability to act on your before in an overseas territory.
Some documents needs to be legalised – an Apostille stamp has to added by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office, Antony Wilson can arrange this for you. Documents for some jurisdictions, notably the UAE – along with consular legalisation (where appropriate).

Do you offer ‘out of hours’ appointments?
Please contact me to arrange a weekend or appointment in the evening. Contact me via telephone or email. I can come to you, or to keep the cost down, individuals can arrange a convenient location.
Do I need to book an appointment?
I appreciate that notarial work tends to be urgent and am happy to fix appointments at very short notice, subject to availability.
What ID is required?
Please bring your passport with you and proof of address (such as a utility bill dated within the last three months). This information will enable me to be satisfied of your identity and to attest that you have appeared before me and signed the document in front of me.

Minimum fee £70 (no VAT applicable).

Bank Transfer / Credit/Debit Card / Cash. Registered Corporate Clients can pay by invoice.

The offices are conveniently located a 5 minute drive / 20 minute walk from Leeds train station. There is limited parking directly at the office so it is advisable to park at Kirkstall Car Park which is directly opposite The Tannery.
