Please contact me for weekend and evening appointments. Enquiries can be made via telephone or email. I can come to you, or to keep the cost down, individuals can arrange a convenient location.
Short notice meetings
I appreciate that notarial work tends to be urgent and am happy to fix appointments at very short notice, subject to availability.
What ID is required?
Please bring your passport with you and proof of address (such as a utility bill dated within the last six months). This information will enable me to be satisfied of your identity and to attest that you have appeared before me and signed the document in front of me.

Charges and estimates
Our charges are as recommended by the Notaries Society.
There is an hourly rate of £180 + VAT plus disbursements if applicable. There is a minimum fee of £60 + VAT. Most jobs of work take a minimum of about twenty minutes to complete. This includes the time taken to make the appointment, check identities and authorities, make sign and seal the certificate and make appropriate records.
If your document needs to be legalised, additional costs are incurred; the Foreign and Commonwealth (FCO) charge for each Apostille (the stamp of approval of the British Government). The cost – as at March 2012 – is £30 per Apostille per document. Furthermore, some countries will require further certification from their local Consulate or Embassy. Fees for this requirement can vary greatly – as can the time taken to process the document concerned: please enquire.
