Are you a company director or person with significant control (PSC)?

If you are, after 18^th  November 2025 the law requires you  to verify your identity with Companies House.  There are 2 ways to verify your identity:

1. Use the ‘Verify your identity  for Companies House’ service, or…
2. Use an Authorised  Corporate Service Provider.

The first option  – option 1 – is the free-of-charge, do-it-yourself Log-on-to companies House

option where you are offered 3 ways to prove your identity:

• By using the UK One Login app; you will be guided through some simple steps.
• By answering security questions online
• At a Post Office

If you prefer a hands-off approach, Authorised  Corporate Service Providers (ACSP) are able to verify you at Companies House on your behalf.
